Senior Database / System Administrator

Your mission:

• You are jointly responsible for the administration (installation, operation, maintenance and optimization) of our database systems (MySQL) under Linux,
• You will participate in the design and expansion of the database systems up to high-availability solutions,
• You will be in close contact with the developers of our applications to support them as a database administrator,
• You will support our team in the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure as well as in the integration of new technologies,
• You see yourself as part of a team for the continuous analysis, optimization and further development of the existing system as well as internal processes and procedures.

Your profile:

• Degree in the field of computer science or comparable training,
• Many years of experience in the operation and architecture of MySQL databases and their replication,
• Sound knowledge in the administration of Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian),
• Independent and careful way of working,
• Good written and spoken English skills (mandatory).
