About the Role:

HMS Networks is looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with Java, specializing in cloud-based development, to join our team in Sibiu. You will design and implement scalable back-end solutions for Industrial Internet of Things, leveraging modern cloud technologies. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud-based back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices in a cloud environment.
• Implement serverless computing solutions, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native services.
• Optimize back-end performance, reliability, and auto-scaling capabilities in a cloud environment.
• Work with time series databases (InfluxDB) to perform real-time analytics.
• Ensure security best practices for cloud applications, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Stay updated with cloud trends, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance development processes.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in back-end development with Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud platform and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless computing (AWS Lambda).
• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud databases and data storage solutions (SQL & NoSQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a distributed environment.
• Ability to work in an agile, DevOps-oriented team.
