Market and Planning Analyst

This position is essential in delivering analytical support to our Marketing Organization, focusing on market trends and dynamics to improve our Product Strategy.

The Market and Planning Analyst will prepare reports on market trends and dynamics, as well as developing Market & Planning models in close collaboration with the Marketing segment leaders to support our Product Strategy.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

•    Define and monitor different sets of statistics to provide in-depth views of growth and trends by market segments and applications (policy monitoring, economic indicators, end market statistics).
•    Market Analysis in collaboration with Marketing segment leaders:

• Search for reliable sources of information/data (Market studies, public information).
• Compile, interpret, and distribute industry intelligence.
• Develop market model enabling the organization to size and forecast compression and flow controls markets and identify trends.

•    Maintain and improve long term business planning model.
•    Keep up to date on major developments regarding technology, and primary industry players, such as mergers, acquisitions, investments, public financial results etc.
•    Prepare Sales & Margin reports to track evolutions of growth initiatives programs.

For This Role You Will Need:

•    A University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience, is required.
•    At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role.
•    Experience working cross-functionally in an international organization.
•    Proficient in spoken and written English.
•    Sophisticated Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Distinctive analytical, pragmatic and result oriented proficiencies.
•    Flexible demeanor, ability to connect with all levels of the organization.
•    Pro-active, able to identify and balance priorities.  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
•    Oracle Hyperion knowledge.
•    Power BI knowledge.
